“A sauna in the hub of a bow-tie-shaped city, in a no place forgotten by all, this is paradise, no more, no less. The journey here is a procession making you very aware of your city and then allowing you to leave it behind. Here, everyone is equally at home and a guest. Inner peace is within reach or at most on the horizon. At once in the heart of the city and at the mercy of nature, far from everything and in the middle of the strangest and unex- pected routes, lives and voices. You sit and sweat. You don't listen, but you hear. You step outside to cool. Time has stopped. The wind caresses you. And people are actually beautiful and kind.” – Maria-Kristiina Soomre

Logi sauna is a citizen-initiated public sauna that opened in December 2023. The initiators of the sauna share an interest towards the urban space of Tallinn and sauna as a phenomenon that unites people. Logi saun is a place bringing together various different people who all contribute into it’s activities in different ways. It is an attempt to create a public space by the sea in Tallinn that supports solitude as well as being together, rest as well as activity. Offering an alternative to digital life, it encourages people to notice the urban nature and gives an opportunity to spend more time by the sea. The initiators behind the sauna include Kaisa Sööt, Margit Säde, Liina-Liis Urke, and Regina-Viljasaar Frenzel.

The visitor’s guide and more information can be found on Logi sauna’s website.
