Cloe Jancis is hosting a showing of her Kanuti Gildi SAAL residency on the 31st of March. It’ll be an exhibition open only on one day from 17:00-20:00 at Püha Vaimu SAAL.

The past few years Cloe’s works have focused on myths, rituals and phenomena linked with performing femininity. She often refers to performing oneself and the common ground of public and personal spheres. In her residency she continued to shape topics related to her previous video work, a distorted beauty ritual, an act of unification and melting into the surroundings. Cloe also focused on objects connected to beauty rituals, changing them in a way that brings attention to how we voluntarily submit to desires.
