On March 26th, 2002, the performance "Walking Home Solo" by the United Dancers of ZUGA premiered at Kanuti Gildi SAAL, which had opened just a few months earlier.
The piece had actually already been performed as a work-in-progress version at Von Krahl Theater´s Baltic Dance Platform Evolutsioon '02 where it caught the eye of several festival and theater managers from other parts of the world.

Last year, at the initiative of Kanuti Gildi SAAL and the Theater and Music Museum, a large number of SAAL´s video archives were digitized and transferred to the film archive of the National Archives. In the process the recording of "Walking Home Solo" stood out and was restored with help of Taavi “Miisu” Varm.

On March 21st, almost 23 years after its premiere, we have invited the directors-performers of "Walking Home Solo" Tiina Möder, Kaja Kann and Jarmo Karing to review this iconic production together and talk about what has changed and what has remained the same.
