HANDSHAKE is a situation that plays. it's a meeting that flirts with the idea of audience and performers being long-time friends and acquaintances. it flirts with the idea that we all know exactly why we are here, in this room, on this night, and what we came here to do, what we are going to do here.
it's a symbol - a handshake as something that always happens as a result of two parties making equal contributions, both of them meeting each other halfway one way or another. The handshake is also a figurative ideal of how I see co-composed life size theatre functioning.
