On the last day of Baltic Take Over, Heidi Backström will facilitate a thinking laboratory focused on cultural collaboration and ways of relying on each other in a time of arts funding cuts across Europe. The laboratory aims to initiate active discussions among cultural professionals, creating a rich space for sharing experiences, life hacks, and envisioning multiple ways to navigate the cultural ecosystem.
The event will be guided by questions such as:
- “How is knowledge about funding distributed?”
- “In what ways can we sustain long-term creative dialogues with each other despite limited financial means?”
- “What kinds of institutional collaborations can we imagine?”
- “How do the working methods of institutions and freelancers intertwine?”
- “What possibilities do curators have in negotiating between rigid funding structures and the practices of freelance artists?”
And many more…
